What are the Entry Requirements?

The Apprenticeship scheme allows for a flexible approach to entry qualifications which will depend upon the age and experience of the individual. A very important determinant will be an interview to assess the suitability of the scheme for your career aspirations and ambitions.

Entry Requirements - Anyone aged 16 or over
Apprenticeship: GCSE in English and Maths or Level 1 literacy and numeracy qualifications.

Advanced Apprenticeship: Completed Apprenticeship or AAT Level 2 in Accounts. You will also need Level 2 literacy and numeracy.

If you do not have the relevant level of qualification, we can assess your current level of literacy and/or numeracy.

How will I be Assessed?

Assessment will be continuous and take place in both the workplace and the College. There will be a combination of exams and skills tests, which will be College-based simulations or work-based evidence.

What are the Costs?

There are no costs to students aged between 16 and 18. There may be a minimal cost to students aged 19 and over. Please contact the Work Based Learning Unit for further details.
